Meet the Founder
Leland Banner, RMP® is the president and property manager of FIRST RENT. Over 33 years ago he began working in the property management industry as a yard care vendor for his family’s property management operation. Reflecting back, he still claims to have pulled over one million weeds… unofficially!
Utilizing his extensive background in the property management industry, FIRST RENT was founded to fill a much needed void in the local market – a property management company specializing in preventative maintenance. Understanding regular ongoing routine preventative maintenance is vital to sustaining the integrity of a rental home and is the secret to a happy long term tenancy. This level of detail is one of many reasons why FIRST RENT is a valuable asset to their clients.
A second generation professional property manager raised in this industry has given Leland unparalleled hands on experience and wisdom. With a strong background in general maintenance, he will act on your behalf to keep your best interest in mind at all times, while working with professional 3rd party vendors.
